If you’re local to Roanoke, I’m in Old Southwest, near downtown. Our building is a tan house that houses several therapists.
My hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes long, depending on your needs during the session.
Yes. I accept most Aetna, Anthem, and United Healthcare plans.
If I’m out of network (OON), I bill through Thrizer, who will charge you a smaller fee for the service upfront and submit your invoice to your insurance on your behalf. Easy-peasy!

There is street parking available. The building is accessible.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Christopher Newport University (Go Captains!) and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.
I see individuals aged 18 and above, regardless of gender.
We’ll work on the issues that have been bothering you the most. I’m the expert in mental health, but you’re the expert of your own life, so I let you lead with what’s most important to you.
Sometimes. I’m a big advocate for using books to help aid therapy.
I use a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I always tell people that you get out of therapy what you’re willing to put into it. If you can show up, be present, and be honest with yourself, you’ll do great!
